OnLeaks has created one of their detailed renderings based on confidential information that, on the whole, you rarely go wrong. So we can take a first look what the Google Pixel 5a would look like, the next “cheap Pixel”, unless Google changes the sky this year.
The design of the Google Pixel 5a may give you a certain feeling of déjà vu, just as it is practically identical that of the Google Pixel 4a 5G. A model that, moreover, Google did not finally sell in Europe
Layout repeated for possible Google Pixel 5a
If the design created by OnLeaks for the Google Pixel 5a is confirmed, we would have a new generation of “cheap pixel” which, although on the inside should have some changes, on the outside it seems practically traced back to its previous generation. At least the 5G model, since the 4G model, sold in Europe, had a rear camera with a single lens.
It’s not just the same design, but virtually the same size. According to OnLeaks, the Google Pixel 5a would measure 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8 mm, against 153.9 x 74 x 8.2 mm for the previous model. OnLeaks hasn’t revealed many specs, although what the pictures show us is basically the same as the Google Pixel 4a 5G: 6.2-inch display, OLED, and FHD +.
The rendering of the Pixel 5a (left) and the Google Pixel 4a 5G (right) To find the differences with the Google Pixel 4a 5G it is necessary to count the millimeters, the only thing easy to see with the naked eye is the slightly different design of the power button. For the rest, we have a dual rear camera whose details are unknown and the fingerprint reader behind.
Other details that emerge from this leak are that the Google Pixel 5a would keep the mini-jack and stereo speakers. The rest is a mystery at the moment, and it is not known when Google intends to present the terminal.
