We have a great approach to the final design of the next generation iPhone!
The leaks strip away the wow factor that Apple likes to keep with every version of the iPhone. But for the third-party manufacturers, this information is pure gold. While having early access to the design of the iPhone 15, accessory manufacturers can speed up the development and production process of their products. This allows them to have their accessories ready to launch soon after the iPhone hits the market, giving them a competitive advantage.
To date, several of them claim to have in their hands several of the prototypes of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max which we hope to see in the fall of this 2023. Several of them have been seen by Mac Rumors, which has shared them in a video in which all the details are appreciated.
This is what the next generation iPhone will look like
The new iPhone models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, they look like iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. But with many of the features that the most notorious leaks allude to. The first, the absence of Lightning ports, replaced by USB-C and they will be located at the bottom of each device.
Another subtle change is seen in the more rounded corners than before, which gives a more comfortable feel in the hand. All fictional models feature a frosted glass back, something that was limited to Pro models in the past.
In these images, the fictional iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models feature a unified volume button, although according to the latest reports, this feature will probably have to wait for the iPhone 16. But we will let see what the mute switch, which becomes a button. We’ll have a button above the volume buttons, and it may be an action button instead of a dedicated mute button, similar to the action button on the Apple Watch Ultra. The action button would be programmable and could do more than just mute the iPhone.
To the naked eye, the cameras also look alike. But as with every iPhone update, this time it is also expected that the iPhone 15 Pro Max gets new periscope lens with up to 6x optical zoom. Requiring a lot of internal space to implement this technology, it will be limited to the Pro Max.
As the iPhone’s production deadline is fast approaching and Foxconn is fine-tuning all the details to get it out on time, the next-gen iPhone’s design has already been finalized, so it’s likely that several of the features seen in the prototypes they coincide with what we will see in the expected iPhone 15.
