Samsung doesn't always follow the same pattern when it comes to assembling the chip in its high-end phones. If we look at this year's Galaxy S24, we can see three different SoCs: Exynos 2400, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400e, a modified version of the first which is only available in the new S24 FE. There is a lot of waiting to see what happens with the new Galaxy S25, although in this case it seems that we will not have that same disparity in processors.
Leaks are increasing with these new devices, having even published the different memory configurations that we will have. Concerning its processors, the information disclosed is very contradictory. There were doubts about when Samsung would follow up with its own SoC, although it looks like we won't have to wait too long.
The Galaxy S26 will return with Exynos chips
As we said a little above, there is no consensus among the leaks regarding the Galaxy S25 SoC. Everything seemed to indicate that Samsung was not at all satisfied with the result of its new Exynos 2500, which would lead it not to install its own processor in these new devices. However, there are performance records from an S25+ with one of these chips. In short: nothing is clear yet.
What is clear is that Samsung has no plans to abandon its own SoCs. This is what one of the main leakers concerning Samsung, Jukanlosreve, points out through the social network X. According to him, and as we can see below, Samsung plans to equip the Galaxy S26 with Exynos chips.

This information has two rather significant connotations. On the one hand, this leaker makes us understand that Samsung ultimately seems to choose not to install its own processors in the new Galaxy S25. On the other hand, the next generation of phones which will arrive in 2026 yes, it will come with a new Exynosalthough it will probably also do it with another processor (Qualcomm if it follows the current trend).
The good news is that you won't have to wait too long to dispel any doubts with the Galaxy S25. Samsung generally chooses the first weeks of each year for the presentation of its star rangeso we can only enjoy Christmas and see what the company surprises us in the first stages of 2025.
