I would say the news presiding over Apple TV + this week was the premiere of ‘Foundation’ confirmed for September, although there has been more news about the present and future of Apple’s catalog of series and movies. Let’s see it, like every Friday, in a weekly compilation with the most relevant.
Whales, Snoopy’s Legacy, and Manhattan’s Lung Fight
The other headline was undoubtedly the new trailer for the second season of ‘Ted Lasso’, unveiled earlier this week. As we said then, the preview allows us to see how Lasso begins to show his most uncontrollable side in the face of his football team’s adversities. New episodes arrive on July 23.
Another newly released advancement is that of ‘CODA‘, the film starring Emilia Jones as a girl who grew up in a family without hearing and who has a dream: to be a singer. A story of challenges and personal improvement that we can see on our devices on August 13th.
More trailers this time from ‘Watch the sound‘. This is a documentary directed by Mark Ronson and it will show us what kind of sounds make a lot of songs keep ringing in our heads. The premiere is scheduled for July 30, with six episodes scheduled each week.
Throughout this week, we’ve also seen how Apple bragged about one fact: Apple TV + content was recognized with 389 nominations and 112 awards from the birth of the service, making it one of the most awarded in less time. The last recipient, by the way, was the children’s series “Stillwater” with a Peabody Award.
For those looking for gear for this weekend, fear not: we have new episodes of ‘Physical’ and ‘Mythic Quest’. We also have several premieres: the documentary ‘Fathom’, the second season of ‘Central Park’ and another documentary about the life of the creator of Charlie Brown. Enjoy all the content!
