The government’s new measure aims to have people use their mobile phones to verify their age, through the My Digital Wallet application. The tool will work like this: after downloading the My Digital Wallet app, users must configure it with their electronic ID to verify their identity, which will be associated with the app and that device. As you are of legal age, you can request the credentials to verify your age when accessing adult content pages. Each credential has a 30-day expiration and each can be used a maximum of 10 times with the same provider. When the credentials are exhausted, you can request more from the app.
Pages with pornographic and adult content must display a QR code that the user must scan with the application from your mobile, thus using one of the identifiers.
