We tested many large backpacks on the road, sports bags, shoulder bags and bins in our attempt to find the best MacBook bags, but we fell in love with the Troubadour Matrix backpack at first glance.
It is beautiful, thin and light, and is specially designed for the suburbs or the technology traveler – but you will pay a premium price for this luxury organizer.

Inside, the Matrix backpack is a question of organization. But the exterior (which is not available in black) is intelligent commercial, in a fortiweave waterproof fabric built with recycled polyester and with elegant elements of vegan leather trim. The back has a comfortable padded fillet panel for breathability to stop sweatshirt when you wear it.
Stay with the outside of the backpack, in the front, there are two zipped pockets. The upper pocket is for easy access to the things you need to achieve in a hurry, such as your airpods and sunglasses, passports and papers, and includes a key clip and a slot for Airtag.
Below is a larger folding compartment that can manage many larger objects in its five pockets – one with a magnetic closure and a zipped section. Here you can store your readers, charger, electric banks, notebook, mouse, cables and other items.
On the one hand, a flexible water bottle support, and on the other, a zipped pocket that would contain a compact umbrella, a smaller phone or other device.
The straps bordered by jerseys offer a hidden carorade origami pocket to keep your phone or travel card in an easy but secure range.
At the top is a handful of transport in strong but comfortable vegan leather.
The backpack weighs 2.6 lb (1.2 kg) and measures 19.3 x 14 x 6.5 inches (49 x 36 x 16.5 cm).

The most precious technology you want to protect is your MacBook, and the laptop sleeve is padded and lined with a soft microfiber. Here you will also find compartments for paper or notebooks, or perhaps also your iPad. There is an integrated storm blanket to further protect your valuables.
Global storage is 20L, but the matrix backpack is probably not the transport bag you need for a supermarket store. If you need to travel with more packaging, try the Pakt 35L or 45L travel backpack.
Instead, inside there are organizational pockets and pen slots and a deeper zipped pocket. We like the light -colored lining, which makes you find your belongings much easier than in a dark interior.
