upgrades everywhere but scary prices

We’re just over a day away from officially knowing all the iPhone 14 details, but it seems that the technical specifications of the whole range have leaked via a spy photo shared on the Weibo social network. The detailed information lines up very well with the rumors we’ve seen, for better and for worse.

A whole table of specifications that is ahead of the official sheets of the iPhone 14

Just above you can see the entire specification table. So true (something you can never be sure of), this article would confirm several things already present in the rumors:

• We will always have the Lightning connector there is no USB-C.
• The A15 processor (or an improved version) will continue in the iPhone 14.
• All models will have 6 GB of RAM memoryalthough the iPhone 14 Pro will have it LPDDR5 type.
• The iPhone 14 Pro will leave the notch in favor of two pill-shaped holes.
• The storage “cap” of 512 GB in the iPhone 14 and 1 TB in the iPhone 14 Pro would not change.
• The iPhone 14 Pro is said to weigh 173 grams and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is said to weigh 245 grams.
• iPhone 14 screen will stay at 60Hz while the 120Hz of the ProMotion panels will remain exclusive to the Pro line.
• The iPhone 14 Pro camera is said to have a 48 megapixel sensorwhich will increase the quality of the final photo.
• The capacities of the batteries filtered at the end of June are confirmed, which in the case of the iPhone 14 Pro represents a very slight drop which can be compensated by more efficiency in its A16 chip.

And now what scares the most: in flight prices are included in yen of all models. By converting this currency into euro, we are left with the following:

• iPhone 14: base price of 968 dollars
• iPhone 14 Plus: base price of 1,070 dollars
• iPhone 14 Pro: base price of $1,430.70
• iPhone 14 Pro Max: base price of $1,574.50

Considering only this conversion, we would be talking about price increases ranging from 59 dollars in the case of the iPhone 14 to 315 dollars in the case of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. And we cannot trust these prices, since the euro-dollar exchange rate and inflation may cause Apple to round more. In other words: if you want one of these new iPhone 14s, better prepare your wallet.
