The iPhone 14 Pro screen is becoming more and more personalized!
A lot has changed with the arrival of the dynamic island of iPhone 14 Pro. A few weeks after its presentation, we have already been able to see all the possibilities of use and entertainment offered by this component. And of course, we keep discovering news. From a new exploration, it was verified that using custom icons is better on this device thanks to this island.
Until now, through the Shortcuts application, Apple offered a trick to change the icons of native iPhone applications and from there open the application. However, this process displayed a large banner each time the user pressed the icon. Now and thanks to the iPhone 14 Pro and Dynamic Island, the use of these icons is easier.
This is the novelty that only arrives on the iPhone 14 Pro

As shown in the test carried out by designer Parker Ortolani when entering an iOS application, in this case Safari, via a custom icon, they no longer display a large banner at the top of the screen. This happens at least on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, because displays a small animation on Dynamic Island to confirm that the shortcut was executed successfully.
Likewise, there is no evidence of lag while interacting with the app as there was before. This, yes, this option is only compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
While the other models continue to have the Shortcuts app options, which along with widgets, introduced with iOS 14 in 2020, let you create completely unique home screens with custom icons.
The vibrant island magic of the iPhone 14 Pro is undeniable, and even before the arrival of the first devices to users, they had already created alternatives to enjoy it on the iPhone. Even Android developers have made proposals to include this design on the screens of some available devices.
