Vivaldi extends desktop possibilities to Android
The famous browser is well known on computers, less so on mobiles. For the office, it tends to anticipate the functions that will later also land on the smartphone; what happens with the latest version of Android, already available: Vivaldi 5.2 is stable on Google Play.
The main novelty of the browser is its playlist. Thanks to it, Vivaldi for Android lets you save web pages so you can read them later. This playlist syncs with other platforms in order to allow access to articles regardless of the device: a page can be saved on the mobile and read on the computer, vice versa as well.
The Reading List allows you to save items, differentiating them by read and unread, perfect for knowing everything that is pending review. Besides, no internet connection is required to access saved items
The other big new feature of Vivaldi 5.2 for Android is the translation of web pages using Vivaldi’s own platform. This tool allows you to translate the entire web page into the desired language, as well as translates a selection of text and even saves a history of translations. Without sending data to other companies: all connections are established with Vivaldi servers.
The update is now available on Google Play: just go to the store to download the new version. And if you haven’t tried Vivaldi yet, now is a good time to give it a try.
