March is an exciting month for mobile photography enthusiasts and Vivo didn’t want to miss the party. After OPPO presenting its Find X6 -which will not reach the West, at least for the moment- and the Huawei P60, it is time to discover all the details of the Vivo X90 Pro of which we already have an analysis in Xataka.
This is the new premium mobile that the Chinese company will bring to our territory and that promises a lot of joy both for its processor and for its triplet of cameras focused on both high resolutions and portrait photography. Let’s see the features of the Vivo X90 Pro and we comment on some of its specifications.

MediaTek core with a Dimensity 9200 that aims very high
The Vivo X90 Pro attracts attention both from the front, with a huge curved screen, and from behind. You can see that Vivo has made an effort to create a recognizable mobile not only because of a huge round camera sensor placed on one of the sides (they tend to be more centered), but because of this “strip” with the motto “Xtreme Imagination”. We also see the ZEISS logo, key lens specs and built-in flash on the back of the device.
The camera module stands out, but we’ll talk about the cameras later. If we turn the device over, we find a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with curved sides. It is huge and has a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels for a density of 453 pixels per inch. The refresh rate is 120 Hz. For its part, the brightness reaches 1,300 nits.
If we go inside we find the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. It is a system on chip with a distributed eight-core processor similar to what Qualcomm does with its most powerful Snapdragon
The operating system is Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 customization layer and in the battery section we find 4,870mAh with 120W charging (the charger is included in the box) and 50W wireless charging.
Three rear cameras with a “portrait” approach
If we focus on the cameras, we see a most interesting triplet. Vivo has joined the trend of using a huge sensor for the main camera, a thumb, which allows you to take better photos in low light conditions and, in addition, to create a more pronounced natural blur. Here are the details of their cameras:
- Major: 1 inch 50.3 megapixel sensor with 1.6 micron pixels. It has laser focus, f/1.75 lenses and an OIS system. It is the equivalent of a 23 mm.
- Big angle: 12 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 lens, autofocus and 16 millimeter equivalent.
- Telephoto: 50 megapixel sensor in 1/2.4 inch size with 0.7 micron pixels, f/1.6 aperture and 2X optical zoom. It’s the equivalent of a 50mm.
The telephoto lens is interesting because it’s very focused on portraits and has a very large aperture, which allows for both beautiful bokeh naturally and better performance at night.
On the front we find a 32-megapixel f/2.5 camera. with a 1/2.8 inch sensor and 0.8 micron pixels. In addition, Vivo has repeated the game and in its alliance with ZEISS -which we have already seen in the Vivo X80 Pro- rises both the lenses of the prestigious firm and different processing modes.
