We tested Lululook's magnetic iPad holder

Made of aluminum, its build quality is very good, resulting in a really strong and stable stand. The stand foot is almost identical in design to the iMac foot, which is even thicker. An oversized plate of the same material is attached to this foot with an anchor that allows 360º rotation to change the orientation of the iPad and tilt from -20º to 200º. Therefore, we can use the iPad both horizontally and vertically, and we can adjust the tilt of the screen as we like. This is done using very smooth movements with no gaps.

Attaching the iPad to the base is done with strong magnets that are strategically placed to join the magnets that the iPad itself includes. This union is strong, the iPad does not fall before any movement we make, and it can be rotated without fear of it moving from the support. As for using it with covers, if they are thin (less than 0.8mm) there will be no problem, and Lululook recommends using magnetic covers without being thicker.
