One more year, this November Black Friday will be celebrated. Traditionally, sales begin the day after Thanksgiving. However, it is to be expected that, as has been the case in recent years, the offers will start much earlier.
In fact, it’s easy to find a discount on Apple products throughout the year, but never directly from Apple (unless you buy it from the Apple Refurbished Store, of course).
But the best discounts usually only come around Black Friday. We’ve even seen some stores advertise that the current discounted price might drop on Black Friday (and you can get the difference if you buy it now).
If you’re thinking of buying a new Mac, you might be wondering if it’s worth waiting until the end of November to grab a great deal for Black Friday. We tell you what to expect and whether to wait or buy now.
When is Black Friday 2021?
Like every year, Black Friday takes place the day after Thanksgiving. This year, it is part of the Friday November 26. As you know, the following Monday is always Cyber Monday, which will be the 29 november. The offers, yes, will start earlier.
What to expect from this Black Friday?
Wish you could save some cash when you buy a new Mac or MacBook this Black Friday? We give you a rundown of what to expect from the major stores, including the Apple Store itself.
Generally speaking, you will find the main discounts on Apple devices, like the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. Instead, don’t expect too much that you can get one of the new products at a big discount.
Apple
Apple’s Black Friday is usually not a day of sales, but rather that the company offers vouchers when you purchase a product. In that sense, you’re saving on the second item you buy, not the first (the Mac or MacBook, go for it).
In 2020, Apple’s Black Friday began at midnight on November 27 and ended at midnight on December 1, that is, after Cyber Monday ended. Apple has offered its customers a gift card of up to $ 150.

We believe Apple will offer something similar in 2021. Of course, keep in mind that not all Apple products will be part of this offer. Last year, for example, the MacBook Air and Mac mini were left out, and so was the new Apple Watch.
Amazon
Amazon has already started its Black Friday sales. You can find them in their Advance Black Friday Offers section. However, as of yet, we haven’t seen any offers related to the Mac or MacBook.
One way to find out what deals Apple may have this Black Friday is to see what discounts it offered a few months ago on Prime Day. For example, we found a discount of $ 200 on the 2019 MacBook Pro 16 “, which is pretty good.
Fnac
Fnac’s Black Friday offers are now available and it is now possible to get a Mac at a discount. They might be even better as the big day approaches, but for now you can take a look at the following:
- MacBook Air 13 “with M1 (8-core CPU, 7-core GPU, 8 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD, Space Gray): $ 1,129 (previously: $ 1,359)

The Corte Ingles
El Corte Inglés is also ahead of Black Friday and is currently running a sales campaign between November 11 and 17. The Mac discounts we found, however, seem more of the usual ones that typically exist throughout the year.
While we recommend that you wait a bit longer for the prices to drop a bit more, here are some of the current offers:

Another of the stores that already have the first Black Friday deals is MediaMarkt. This November 11, for example, they’re offering up to 20% off web-wide, though the truth is the promotion doesn’t apply to Apple products.
We’ve scoured the entire catalog to find Macs and MacBooks already on sale, but there should be more deals in a few days.

Macnificos is one of the few stores that has yet to decide to anticipate Black Friday deals, but the truth is, it’s still common to find a discount, especially with previous generations. This is also the case for Macs and MacBooks.
You should wait a bit to take advantage of the best deals, but if for some reason you need to buy a new computer now, here are some of the discounts on the Macnificos website:
