WhatsApp Beta for Android activates its global player for voice notes so you can listen to them from other chats

If a few weeks ago we saw how WhatsApp Beta improved its audio recorder allowing it to record a voice message in multiple takes, now we see how the company has started to improve your audio note player.

last february WhatsApp started following Telegram steps and the popular email client has also started implementing its own global audio note player. It first started with WhatsApp Desktop, then in its version for iOS and now it comes to you the turn to the Android version.

The Global Audio Note Player

Thanks to WABetaInfo, we know that the global voice memo player began its deployment across the version 2.22.7.11 from whatsapp beta. This long-awaited feature has been implemented for some beta testerstherefore, it is not yet available to anyone upgrading to this version.

Currently, when we broadcast an audio message, we cannot edit the conversation. Going back to the conversations view will stop the audio note playing, so we can’t leave the conversation until the note is completely played.

With global audio note player it won’t happen again. Like Telegram, it will show a new reader at the top of the appand when we get this feature will allow us to leave the chat without stopping the reading. Or what amounts to the same, that we can listen to a voice note while we are chatting in other chats or groups.

It is expected that in the next few days, in the next updates of whatsapp beta, reach all your users with this global audio notes player. For the stable version, we will have to wait a few more weeks for this news to reach everyone.
