WhatsApp has almost ready a new voice memo player

WhatsApp has almost ready a new app update for iOS with which finally you can listen to voice notes and at the same time continue to browse other chats, even quit the app without stopping listening.

WhatsApp voice memos are becoming more and more popular. Although it is still difficult for many of us to accept it, it must be recognized that voice notes are a useful communication tool that can convey long messages quickly, or in situations where one cannot stop writing. One of the reasons listening to these voice memos is so annoying to many (at least to me) is the fact that you have to leave your phone idle for the duration of the voice memo. You can’t leave WhatsApp, you can’t even leave the conversation where the voice memo is and enter another one to continue reading other messages

. The moment you play something, the voice note stops and you have to press play again to play it. Another reason is that these voice notes can’t be heard from the Apple Watch, which doesn’t even have an app for WhatsApp yet, while the messages can be seen on your screen.

Well, the second problem at the moment does not have a solution from Facebook, owner of WhatsApp, because there is no news regarding the app for Apple Watch, and the one for iPad that we are still waiting for patiently. But at least yes, we can continue to use WhatsApp while listening to a voice note thanks to the new player already available for some in the beta

of WhatsApp and I hope it will soon be available for all users in the official version. With this player we will be able to leave the current conversation, move on to another, write messages, even leave WhatsApp, and all this without stopping to listen to the voice note we were playing. A very welcome feature for many and which we hope will soon be available for everyone.
