Work is underway on a new WhatsApp desktop app to improve the experience and usability on macOS.
WhatsApp is constantly striving to improve its service. It has now been revealed that a new revamped desktop app for macOS is in the works.

Information from WABetaInfo showed a screenshot which was made on one of the latest beta versions of WhatsApp and which reveals a new desktop application for Apple computers.
A new WhatsApp for Mac
This new application will have all the improvements that a native application could offer, since is developed under catalytic conditions. This will allow it to be downloaded through the Mac Apple Store, in addition to offering top-notch stability and performance.
As can be seen in the screenshot provided by WABetaInfo, the first time the user opens the application will ask you to link your mobile account to the desktop version by scanning a QR code. This process is already known.
One of the advancements in this beta is that WhatsApp macOS user will not only be able to link an iPhone account but also an Android account. Therefore, hopes are generated that they can maintain simultaneous multi-accounts.
For the time being there is no indication that the official and public version will arrive soon, there is also no date estimated by those who tested the betas.
