Windows is experiencing a revolution, with the arrival of the first Copilot+ laptops with Artificial Intelligence. The big difference between these computers and current computers is their ability to run AI locally, which opens the door to more possibilities; Microsoft is fully committed to this technology and is integrating it into all its applications.
Now it’s the turn of OneNote, Microsoft’s notes application which already has Copilot enabled with a recent update; Although not all users have it yet, it is expected that it will gradually reach everyone. And when you do, you will be able to do something that even the best text recognition programs have not been able to do: recognize the worst written notes.
Let’s be honest, very few people write as beautifully and coherently as in product presentations such as tablets or touchscreen laptops. With this type of font, there is no shortage of programs that can recognize what we have written.
Things change when letters start to fit together, sentences come together more than they should, and words become blurry. In the worst case, even we might have trouble understanding our own writing.
The Copilot feature for OneNote can solve this problem once and for all, as it boasts the ability to understand our notes even if they are handwritten
Once it understands what we have written, Copilot is able to show us several options to improve our grades. For example, you can create rsummaries of the various notes that we have written to reduce them to what is really important. We may also ask you to rewrite the notes that do not satisfy us, so that they are expressed in a more relaxed or direct way, but without losing the original meaning.
Copilot for OneNote is available to Microsoft 365 and Copilot Pro subscribers; as usual, the rollout is gradual and not all users will receive the feature at the same time.
