One of Xiaomi’s most famous accessories has a new model in China: the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Connected Bracelet It’s official. It arrives alongside the new foldables, the Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4. And it evolves little in features to continue being the most suitable choice for those who need to record their activity without a high financial investment.
From the first models without a screen to the current ones, where the AMOLED panel occupies almost the entire front of the Band, no more and no less than ten generations have passed, Ten years of Xiaomi Smart Band. More battery and a screen twice as bright
The design and appearance of the new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 do not change excessively compared to its predecessors, the lines are similar. Xiaomi evolves the body of the device, since it debuts in metal material with a colored finish to complete the aesthetic profile. There is even a special version in white ceramic.
The screen offers AMOLED touch technology with a diagonal that remains at 1.62 inches. The maximum brightness increases to 1,200 nits, according to Xiaomi; which would improve one of the weakest points of the bracelet (the brand assures that The Band 9 has twice the brightness of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8). The resolution is 192 x 490 pixels.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 comes in two models: one with NFC for mobile payments and one without this connectivity (apart from the exclusive ceramic version). Both integrate Bluetooth 5.4, 233mAh battery with full charge in 60 minutes Thanks to the included magnetic base, Xiaomi ensures that the autonomy has been extended to 21 days and that resistance remains the key: the new activity bracelet withstands pressures of up to 5 ATM.
Constant activity recording, advanced sleep monitoring, measurement of more than 150 sports, daily activity score, countless watch faces available via Xiaomi mobile app and even downloadable games on the bracelet. The Smart Band 9 has evolved in terms of software.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Price and Availability
The bracelet is now available in China and it will probably take a few more months to arrive in other countries, including Europe. In its home country, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 costs 249 yuan for the base model, or about 31.44 dollars in exchange.
