After learning that Google's upcoming Pixel 10 won't have Samsung modems, the tech giant now wants boost pixel customization expanding the possibilities that it already offers in the lock screen interface.
With the rollout of iOS 16 to iPhones, Apple has given more importance to the lock screen on its phones and almost forced it to do so. Google had to get its act together and do the same on your Pixel. In fact, in a short time you will be able to enjoy a series of new features such as a wallpaper with generative AI and a greater variety of clock styles.
NOW Google wants to include more options so that the user can customize the lock screen with a large number of possibilities that Android 14 already offered when it was deployed on the Pixel.
There were a total of nine watch styles and color options for the lock screen. Options varied from being able to go monochrome, to selecting one of the wallpaper colors as the main interface color, to choosing one of the Pixel's predefined colors.
The technology giant did not want to forget a generous detail by offering the possibility of enlarge the size of the clock widget and thus embroider an experience that will now be expanded when a series of new options appear in the code of the new Android 15 QPR2 update.

Mishaal Rahman, a renowned Android expert, found these changes along with an updated version of Pixel Wallpaper via Android Authority. He shared several images in which you can see the new styles of watches which Google is working on, although the size options are limited with no news in this regard.
There is a very important point in this extension of clock style customization in Pixel according to Android Fontand once available, the user will be able to use the pencil button to access a new screen to adjust the weight of the typography of the clock (whether the letters are thinner or thicker), its width and height, even its roundness and inclination.
What is not clear is if all these customization options will be available for all watch styles and there are only a few that can be configured. Google's goal is for users to have a more unique and personal lock screen.
