This year we know that a mobile will be able to detect snoring and coughing that occur at night when a person is sleeping. This function will be activated via the new Android 13 API which has been called ambient context. The Android System Intelligence (ASI) application will be responsible for recording coughs and snores generated when a person is sleeping.

Of course, the the microphone will be the element the hardware used to collect this data and thus send it to the Digital Wellbeing or Digital Wellbeing application. Through this application it will be possible to visualize the graphs that represent the data of snoring and coughing that a person generates in bed.

The Tensor 2 chip is the key

Another thing to keep in mind is that Digital Wellbeing will not play recorded soundsbut it will request the use of the associated permission so that it starts its work when the user is sleeping.
