Google continues to improve the category subscriptions for use of YouTube for Android. If for a few months we can sort our subscriptions through the channel, we have now started working multiple filters.
YouTube for Android It’s already testing to filter whether iOS users have been enjoying it since January. Because of these new ones we will have more control over the videos of our subscriptions.
So you can sort your subscriptions
On the tab of Subscriptions a new category will appear just below the trusted channel list with filters or tags that will help us find videos in a simpler way.
By default it will show us All videos, but thanks to these new files we will only be able to see published videos Today, the videos we have left and the filter Keep watching, videos we haven’t seen yet by clicking on them Not reproduced, or Sort by videos Live or just see Books.
At the end of the list of filters we can prepare a subscription feed, to tell you if we want to see only videos or also near books.
Google has yet to officially announce the news, but it is expected to reach all users in the coming days. They work filters through their servers, so updating the app to the latest version does not guarantee we have filters available.
