If we have a smartTV, Chromecast, Fire TV or compatible device, we can send YouTube videos to our TV from mobile to see them on your screen. The phone has been a remote control so far, because the only thing that allowed the mobile, in addition to changing the videos, was to pause or control the volume.
In the last update of YouTube for Android, Google has begun testing a new feature that allows us to use the app as remote control interacting with the YouTube TV show.
Remote control and voice search
Other users when making & # 39; Cast & # 39; from YouTube for Android see how a new window allows them to use voice search searching for videos or using a new one remote control to scroll through the YouTube television menus.
On hold we can see how remote control works when the application is connected to Fire tv, which is expected to be compatible with Android TV and other smartTVs with new YouTube features.
Right now this looks like it is in the tests, since very few users have done this remote control of voice search. We hope that YouTube will introduce this new feature to everyone.
