Prior to the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (November 15, 2019), EA expected to sell six to eight million units during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020. It ultimately exceeded expectations publisher, which communicated a new figure on the occasion of its financial statement last night.
As of December 31, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had sold approximately eight million copies. EA now reports that the solo adventure game developed by Respawn has attracted ten million "unique players", a term which therefore includes subscribers Origin Access
FIFA 20 remains the spearhead of the American publisher with its community of 25 million players. Madden NFL 20 has "the highest engagement in franchise history," while The Sims 4 had its best year in attendance. Finally, regarding Apex Legends, no new figure, but EA highlights the fact that it is the most downloaded free-to-play on PS4 in 2019.
