If you preferred to wait for Elex 2 until it ended up on sale: Now would be a good time to strike. Almost exactly a year after its release, the open-world game is only half as expensive and it now has a few patches under the hood. In the post-test, we looked at whether the role-playing game ran smoother with it.
Tech is still Elex 2’s sore point, but the open world still has a lot to offer, especially if you like to explore freely (jetpack flying!) and discover secrets around every corner. More of the tried and tested for Piranha Bytes fans, everyone else will have to get used to the somewhat outdated but somehow charming game design.

Horizon Zero Dawn: One of the most beautiful post-apocalypses in gaming history, with a huge open world and many hours of story. The story of the outcast slayer Aloy takes a little time to get going, but develops into a stirring epic about the nature of mankind.
The Old World (read: our modern civilization) has perished, leaving only ruins of the metropolises. For this, huge robotic animals roam the world, which in turn are hunted by native tribes. What happened to mankind and why are the machines becoming more and more dangerous?
