The
Cyberpunk 2077 and the wizarding publisher CD Projekt shared some interesting data about its employees.
As part of the full year financial report for 2019, CD project Provides up-to-date information about its workforce diversification efforts and reveals the nationality and age division of its workers.
As of the end of 2019, CDP had 1,044 employees (a year-on-year increase of 18%). This includes CD Projekt Red, GOG and all other studios owned by this Polish company. 21% of all employees are foreigners, they come from 44 different countries.
The gender difference is not very large, only 26% of employees are women. Especially CD Projekt Red, which is 640 men and 232 women. For GOG, this is 130 men and 42 women. During 2019, this proportion has indeed improved, and CD Projekt stated that this proportion is much higher than the national average (15.5%).
The company has only four disabled employees, but says its office can meet the specific needs of these members. As for employee age, 30-39 years old seems to be the most common, at 51%, followed by 20-29 years old at 42%, with an average of 31 years old.
CD Projekt also revealed other interesting statistics about its games at the same meeting. For example, The Witcher 3 sold almost as much in 2019 as it was released. The developer also said that "Cyberpunk 2077" will see the same number of DLC as "The Witcher 3".
