Nintendo has uploaded a new gameplay video for Switch Sports, in which we can see all the sports offered in the title, including those that will be added via updates.
Nintendo Switch Sports, due to land with us on April 29th, should inevitably evoke memories of the old ones that Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort sent. To further fuel the hype, the Kyoto-based company today unveils a new gameplay video that reveals all sports in the game and we even discover disciplines offered via updates.
We learn that volleyball will be there. Of course, anything with Motion Gaming will be playable via the Joy-Cons. It will therefore be necessary to mimic the serves, the smashes and the blocks as on a real ground. We can even perform Charged Smashes. Badminton will be present in Nintendo Switch Sports, again with specific movements for service, drop shots or smashes.
Bowling is making a big comeback with new effects on the ball. You can even enjoy a course with obstacles. Soccer will enter the game selection and ask you to use the Joy-Con thigh strap? The latter comes with the physical version of the game and is also the same strap used for the famous Ring Fit Adventures.
Nintendo Switch Sports: very online oriented?
The online mode will not be missing either, with again many challenges and rankings to motivate yourself. Football matches will thus allow up to eight players on the field. We also note the arrival of the Chambara, which looks a lot like the Wii Sports Resort saber.
After the Mii system was destroyed, Nintendo Switch Sports will rely on specific avatars. This is how we discover the many customization options for our character, which we can customize from head to toe.
Finally, we learn that in the fall you will be able to play golf with a free update.
