This article took about twice as much time as usual. It’s the fault of the Gnorps, who are hitting rocks on my third monitor and need a few inputs every now and then. The Gnorp Apologue is a so-called Incremental Game/Clicker-Spiel and revolves around small creatures that break down rocks, build houses and stations out of them, become stronger and more numerous, learn new tricks and thus work more and more efficiently.
This has many advocates on Steam: The Gnorp Apologue achieved 96 percent approval from over 1,400 users who submitted a rating. And apparently like to be distracted from work.

Unexpectedly niche insider tip: With the blessing of publisher Paradox, Whatboy Games developed a fast, compact spin-off of the gigantic 4X strategy game Stellaris. In Stellaris Nexus you compete against up to five other players to leave your mark on a virtual galaxy in short games lasting around an hour.
Despite a big name and publisher, Stellaris Nexus flies completely under the radar. There are just 266 active players at the same time SteamDB. Anyone who dares to try it is usually satisfied: the game receives 93 percent positive Steam ratings from 228 reviewers.
