Hogwarts Legacy is finally available for PS4 and Xbox One, the opportunity for gamers to find out what the game is worth on the old generation.
It’s THE phenomenon at the start of 2023, Hogwarts Legacy is a real hit on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The Harry Potter game is also planning to hit the PS4 and Xbox One and will be coming to Nintendo Switch soon. But when it was announced, especially when PC specs dropped, gamers broke out in cold sweats. How could such a greedy game run on old generation consoles and Nintendo Switch?
Hogwarts Legacy on PS5 and One as strong as on PS5 and Xbox Series?
Well it’s done, the game runs very well on PS4 and Xbox One. We were able to see it in a short gameplay video recently, on PS4 the game runs like clockwork and on Xbox One it’s the same.
But even better, if we compare the PS4 version (Fat and Pro) to the PS5 version, we find that the different versions all have it under the elbow. At least that’s what the YouTube channel proves. ElAnalistaDeBits who decided to compare each version of the game. As a result, we learn that the PS4 (bold) matches up perfectly and proves more than right, whether in combat, cutscenes, outside or within the walls of Hogwarts. Same thing on PS4 Pro, by the way, with a few tweaks along the way. It works thunder. We only remember one negative thing, long loading times on the PS4 when traveling fast, which are not too long.
Sounds good for the Switch
Hogwarts legacy on PS4, is therefore very solid. The Xbox One version is no exception and offers a similar experience. Of course, the Xbox One X performs slightly better than its big sister, the One (bold).
