It took 10 years for a sequel to Dragon’s Dogma, but if you’re not careful you could be spoiled in less than 10 seconds!
We had to wait 10 years for a sequel to Dragon’s Dogma. The latter had made a name for itself with its medieval fantasy universe, but above all with its atypical farming system. Fortunately, Capcom will rectify the situation. The sequel will be available on March 22, 2024 for Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. We spotted some heavy stuff in the trailers. In particular, there are new, still impressive creatures that we can still climb like in the first. Throughout the many quests this new adventure offers, your artificial intelligence-led companions will be back to assist you. However, be careful if you want to play Dragon’s Dogma 2, there is one important caveat.
Beware of Dragon’s Dogma 2 spoilers
Be very careful until the game is released! Fans are obviously impatient, but some are too impatient. One streamer broadcast more than 4 hours of the game on Twitch before being interrupted by Capcom. His defense is that he only got his copy of Dragon’s Dogma 2 at Walmart. Except the damage is already done and hundreds of videos or images are now easily found on the internet, with a whole host of spoilers to boot.
Although the channel in question was removed today for violating Capcom’s rights, it is estimated that nearly 1,000 viewers were able to enjoy the live broadcast. Some have gone to great lengths to capture images, make excerpts, or share a whole host of details on the forums. You can imagine that it was shared at breakneck speed and that the leaks spread across the web. To preserve your experience as much as possible, there are not thousands of solutions.
First of all, a little common sense: avoid visiting Reddit or other forums that look for spoilers and leaks. Twitter allows you to block any keywords related to Dragon’s Dogma 2, although some untagged images may fall through the cracks. For example, here is the procedure for Twitter:
- Open Settings
- Go to “Privacy and Security”
- Go to “Hide and Block”
- Add all possible variations of the keyword (Dragon Dogma, Dragon’s Dogma 2, DragonDogma2, DD2, etc.)
Until March 22, it is better not to be too curious, so as not to spoil the experience that Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers and not to indulge yourself.
