FF7 Rebirth will look even better on PC
Square Enix has announced it: the PC version of FF7 Rebirth will suggest even more impressive graphics only on PS5 and PS5 Pro. Lighting, frame rate, textures… everything becomes even more detailed and efficient. However, it's obvious that to get the most out of it, you need a machine that's up to the task. The publisher has just revealed the specifications and we can say that they reflect the expectations of an ambitious AAA game these days.
Before we even get into the technical details, we would like to point out that installing the software takes up space. With 155GB, FF7 Rebirth will require space. Next, the specs suggest that the game will also be resource intensive 12GB VRAM for 4K.
In spite of everything, The minimum configuration remains accessible. In fact, already outdated CPUs like the Ryzen 5 1400 and the Intel Core i3-8100 would be sufficient. This is quite surprising because for a current game like this it is not trivial FF7 Rebirth. However, it must be understood that this limits the experience. There is a limit of 30 FPS for the display alone.
In short, we would prefer one 6 core processor for a more pleasant experience. Also note that Square Enix recommends switching to Windows 11, as the title has certainly been optimized for this operating system. Finally, hardware that supports ray tracing is also recommended.
We will therefore appreciate that the PC port of FF7 Rebirth seemingly presents specifications that are consistent with the current market Take advantage of the advantages of modern architecturewithout completely closing yourself off to moderately old configurations. I hope that these decisions will enable satisfactory operations, including at the least.
And the Steam Deck included?
The only question mark that remains is compatibility with the Steam deck. Many gamers who neither have a PS5 nor a sufficiently powerful PC would certainly be interested in experiencing the continuation of the adventure of Cloud and his companions on Valve's portable console.
However, FF7 Rebirth regarding the optimization for the Steam Deck is still pending. Given that the game is releasing in a month, those who trust in compatibility are in for a goosebumps moment. Given that the previous parts of Final Fantasy 7 After the optimization, we can assume that Square Enix is also planning the move Rebirth. However, you have to wait for confirmation. Of course, it would be a disappointment not to be able to enjoy it upon release January 23, 2025.
