Twitch will be adding a chat messaging feature to the trial, and clearly not everyone will like it.
We can learn the news through the official Twitch support account, a paid feature will appear at the level of messages in the chat of a stream. Look at the following message:
We’re experimenting with a new way for Twitch viewers to support their favorite streamers!
? Enhanced chat will be available on select channels today.

So what we can learn is that viewers have to spend $5 to pin a message in chat on a Twitch stream for just 30 seconds, and the prices will go up exponentially from there. It’s $10 for 60 seconds, then $25 for 90 seconds, $50 for two minutes and the last option $100 for two and a half minutes. If more than one viewer is using the Enhanced Chat feature, a queue will begin.
At this time, Twitch’s Elevated Chat feature hasn’t rolled out to all streamers. The experience lasts a total of four weeks and begins in early October. During this trial period, streamers will not be able to opt-in or opt-out of that experience.
Pull out also announced that streamers would receive 70% of revenue from Elevated Chat messages, while the platform would keep the remaining 30%.
