The Nintendo Switch 2 would offer a new feature that many players are waiting for. It would be a small revolution on this scale!
The Nintendo Switch 2 (that's actually his official name) has finally officially revealed himself to us! In a presentation video shared on Thursday, January 16, the new hybrid console gave a first look at its design and what it would closely resemble Mario Kart 9. What if this first taste also hides a few additional details, especially regarding the machine's functionalities?
A small PC in the Nintendo Switch 2?
We won't feign any big surprise about the Nintendo Switch 2's reveal. The leaks have been so numerous for several weeks and, above all, are becoming more and more concrete. Especially when you look at the end result, it becomes clear that many of them were true. Others could even be confirmed soon as the first images become available.
For now, Nintendo is content with this video presentation without giving any further details. Therefore, the new features of the console still need to be clarified. But the trailer already makes it clear that the way you play with the Switch 2 will be even more liberal. In fact, we can see how the Joy-Con can be detached like on the first console, but also used horizontally… like a computer mouse !
The Nintendo Switch 2 will therefore come with new accessories. This is a tip into which each of the Joy-Cons can be inserted, just like its big sister. This time, however, it is possible to lay the controllers flat on the edge and presumably move them. Furthermore, we can see that at least one of the two, the one on the right, includes a button on the front. Combined with the integrated infrared technology, it could actually become a mouse.
Nintendo has yet to confirm the various special features of its Switch 2. But a new feature already seems to be emerging. If this is indeed what we are thinking of here, then it will be special useful for certain types of games, such as management, construction or strategy games.
