That's it! It's the big day for James Gunn's next Superman film, starring David Corenswet. A replacement who “Will amaze everyone” said the director, who is also full of praise for actress Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane). “He's probably the best action star I've ever worked with. Rachel Brosnahan, people will love her too » explained the director.
Milly Alcock chose this film, which we have been talking about for many months (House of the Dragon) Supergirl, Nicholas Hoult for Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo for Jimmy Olsen or even Isabela Merced for Hawkgirl, who we saw in Alien Romulus and the series The Last of Us. And this new Superman will be innovative with the presence of Krypto, Clark, Kent's super dog that we have never seen in a live-action film. « Superman, a young reporter in Metropolis, embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent » promises the film's hook.
For a few days now, James Gunn has been teasing his Superman with the release of the main theme by John Williams, remixed by Benjamin Squires (Spider-Man far from home) and a very short lightning teaser to introduce today's first official trailer. If the director doesn't forego old feature films, he has already said that his film was particularly inspired by the All-Star Superman comics. Enough to attract early fans, as evidenced by the trailer that suggests the best.
