While rumors point to a movie about the events of Resident Evil 0, a great community project has just been created that is available to everyone for free.
“We are working on a new Resident Evil” announced Kōshi Nakanishi, director of RE7, during the Capcom Next Summer 2024 presentation. But that’s all we know. There were no images, trailers, or even the slightest information about the game. Well, between us, of course, it’s no surprise that a new episode is in the works. The license is almost immortal at this point and will come back as long as players are there. Some of them are also completely invested in the franchise.

This fan project entitled The Keeper’s Diary: A Biohazard Story was produced by Andrew Saullo from Residence of Evil and Andy from Biohazard released. It does not take up any previously released video games, but adapts the events of a diary found in the Spencer mansion from RE1. “Inspired by the classic Resident Evil (1996) and its remake (2002), The Keeper’s Diary: A Biohazard Story is an adaptation of the legendary diary of the same name found in the mansion. It tells the story of a researcher who succumbs to a virus outbreak in an underground research center.
This Resident Evil film, which according to the credits may have a sequel, is available for free on YouTube. And the team responsible for this short film is not the first attempt. Twice they managed to bring together actors Chris Redfield, Barry Burton and Albert Wesker for a film Group interviewbut also for the Movie Resident Evil: Resurrection.
