Starfield continues to be updated and the next patch is already announced to be extensive. Bethesda tells us that it promises a lot of changes, that promises.
Starfield has been controversial since its release. Some love it, some hate it, while a handful of players find themselves right in the middle of the action. In any case, the game is a hit despite the heavy criticism and bombardment it received. Not only has it sold several million copies, it still fascinates and arouses curiosity today. Although fewer than at launch, players are present, some already have several hundred hours on the clock, and continue to enjoy. Bethesda, for its part, is keeping an eye on things.
Starfield is about to receive a colossal update
Starfield has already received a few updates since its launch. Mainly bug fixes and optimizations. Bethesda tries as best it can to please as many people as possible by ensuring an optimal experience. Everyone finds lunch on their doorstep, but we can’t say the studio stands still. In addition, the developers have just announced the upcoming release of a gigantic update, the largest ever released. A colossal patch that will affect a whole range of things.
We don’t have all the details, but Bethesda is announcing hundreds of changes. This will fix numerous bugs related to quests, optimize the overall stability of the game and even make us eligible for graphical improvements. Many other corrections of varying significance will be included. Bethesda will give us more details next week in the patch notes.
As is often the case, the impressive update first goes through the beta branch before being rolled out to everyone in the game. Starting January 17th, the Starfield beta branch on Steam can be updated with this very large patch. Then we will see it more clearly. The update to the classic version will arrive a little later.
