Japan Expo 2023 announces its first guest with the return of a legendary Japanese author. A creator who, through the serial adaptation of his works, shook the childhoods of millions of people.
Japan Expo 2023 will take place from July 13th to 16th, 2023 in the aisles of the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center. And the organizers just gave at least one good reason to go there.
Tsukasa Hojo at Japan Expo 2023
If Dragon Ball, DBZ, The Knights of the Zodiac or Olive and Tom are among the programs most cited by those over thirty, let’s not forget the rest. Nicky Larson (City Hunter) and Cat’s Eyes, does that appeal to you too? These are two manga written by author Tsukasa Hōjō and adapted into anime series. The first was then broadcast as part of Club Dorothée on TF1, the other on FR3 under the name of Signé cat eyes.
Legend Tsukasa Hōjō will return to us during Japan Expo 2023. On the program: a conference, autograph sessions and ” Surprises “.
If the French discover Tsukasa HÔJÔ with the cartoons of his two most famous manga, Nicky Larson (City Hunter) and Signé Cat’s Eyes (Cat’s Eye), it is a much greater work that should soon seduce them. From his first short story in 1980, Je suis un Homme!, the mangaka has published numerous one-shots and several long series to date, including Rash!!, F. Compo and, in the 2000s, Angel Heart.
We are delighted to welcome back the mythical author of Cat’s Eyes, City Hunter and Family Compo. This manga master, whose works are still relevant and always relevant, will be our guest of honor at Japan Expo 2023.
Conference, autograph sessions and other surprises will be there! So, ready to meet Tsukasa HÔJÔ?
Small detail, however, it seems that this year as well, the Japan Expo 2023 signings will work on a draw basis. Everything is explained on the event website.
