One description and the rumors start again. An Australian retailer hints that a PS5 Slim will be announced soon.
With the lack of PlayStation 5 now in the past, Sony looks to the future. As rumors surrounding the PS5 Pro become more persistent, the Japanese publisher had teased the arrival of a new model for this year. And now a major Australian retailer is listing a famous PS5 Slim on its website, fueling new rumours.
PS5 Slim announced soon?
Is Sony preparing to market a PS5 Slim? One of Australia’s biggest retailers has just ignited the web by adding a new page mentioning a slimmer Playstation 5. The GoodGuys official website actually created a page for a new model with the following description: “ The new, slimmer PS5 with incredibly bright and vivid colors, HDR graphics and stunning immersion, whether you’re gaming or streaming movies and TV shows. “Generally, retail sites of th is magnitude only update their site with new products when the announcement is imminent, suggesting that Sony will unveil this ‘PS5 Slim’.
According to Tom Henderson’s sources, Sony had a surprise new PS5 in its boxes. Its peculiarity, it would have a removable drive that could be connected to the back of the console via USB-C and would have a design essentially similar to that of the PlayStation Digitale. This console would then serve to replace the existing chassis (A, B and C) and would be sold under the chassis D name Yummy
In any case, Sony had not hidden its intention to bring a new model of the PlayStation onto the market. Hideaki Nishino, vice president of the Platform Experience branch, was there with his little teaser last December. ” I can’t talk specifically about that at the moment (note: PS5 Pro or new model), but I hope you look forward to next year ‘ he then explained.
