Resident Evil Village is officially scheduled to launch on May 7th. Less than a month after the game was released, it makes sense for Capcom to have something to say and show off. It is therefore not surprising that the Japanese publisher is preparing to air a new episode of its Resident Evil Showcase.

Capcom just announced the release of a new edition of its Resident Evil Showcase mission on Thursday, April 15th at 11:59 pm (Paris time). Unsurprisingly, the Japanese publisher declares that this mission will be dedicated to Resident Evil Village and that it will use the latter to reveal an indie trailer of the game as well as new gameplay sequences.
But that’s not all. In addition to this indie content linked to Resident Evil Village, Capcom also promises “some surprises“during this second Resident Evil Showcase. Knowing that the Osaka publisher announced during the first showcase that a second demo of Resident Evil Village, this time for all platforms, would suggest the approach of releasing the game, it is possible to ponder whether any of these surprises are concerns poses the start of this new trial. Please note that until this Resident Evil Showcase airs, Capcom will remind you that Resident Evil Re: Verse is currently in the Open Beta. The latter ends on April 11th at 8 a.m. As a reminder, Re: Verse will be offered for free to anyone who purchases Resident Evil Village on May 7th (on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia).
