Just before its 2024 Summer Showcase, Bandai Namco releases an explosive trailer for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero with a new focus on the roster. It’s going to be a long wait!
The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2024 is scheduled to last about an hour and aims to take stock of games or licenses such as Gundam, Sword Art Online or even Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Logically, the publisher could have waited for this event to release a new trailer, but it was obviously a bit too tempting to release a video before that time.
A trailer for the fighters of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is full of good news and presentations. Although this may seem anecdotal in terms of cast, gameplay or other features, we do know that emotes and provocative poses will return. A way like any other to put pressure on the opponent during a fight.
Although the publisher is still very tight-lipped on the matter, the Goku actor announced that there will be a Dragon Ball GT DLC, as he has recorded dialogues for the legendary character in his Super Saiyan 4 form. “I didn’t realize that subtly changing the voice for each form would cause me problems. I did that for the red forms of Super Saiyan 4, Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan God… they’re really subtle differences.”
At the same time, Bandai Namco made an important announcement for the roster of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Great Saiyaman, the vigilante version of the adult Gohan, will be playable and will therefore be able to find his companion Videl in her classic costume. A “superhero” who joins the ape transformation of Vegeta, Boo, Tenshinhan, Perfect Cell, Goku Ultra Instinct, Vegeta Super Saiyan God, Golden Frieza, Jiren or even Bardock from the release date trailer. An already rich roster that has grown even more with the latest fresh trailer.
