WARNING, the following article contains SPOILERS for FF7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 (the original). You have been warned.
A new trailer for FF7 Rebirth that will make you drool
Are you excited to get your hands on FF7 Rebirth? If so, this new trailer won’t do anything to calm your impatience. Be careful, unlike the last one it’s not that long, but a minute is enough to get the hype going. We are therefore entitled to dynamic gameplay, but above all to different passages of the story including our favorite characters. Before you get upset: No, the title’s most iconic scene is not present.
The trailer titled “Destined for Rebirth” sells the dramatic side of the situation in which the protagonists find themselves. We quickly see Sephiroth, the game’s famous antagonist, who won’t be quite the same as before. The edginess of the game’s mechanics, coupled with these sequences that promise to be lush, will undoubtedly please players. Of course, the theories are heard by the community, who are looking for the slightest change compared to 1997’s FF7. After that, we already know some of the changes made to the story.
As seen in the trailer, Zack is present even though he should have died in the spin-off Crisis Core. He will not be the only character to make a comeback in FF7 Rebirth and it is the director himself who has stated this on several occasions. Unfortunately, we won’t find out more here (small surprise, that never hurts). Be that as it may, we will have the end of the story on February 29, 2024. For now, we’ll let you enjoy the new images below.
