We still haven't gotten over the cosmic backfire of Helldivers 2 during the The Game Awards 2024but Arrowhead Game Studios doesn't care about that. The Omens of Tyranny update has only been the first of two chapters of content that are already available in the game. The second is a new War Bonus that comes loaded with interesting content.
Urban Legends or Urban Legends of Helldivers 2 is now available. It joins the great update to increase our arsenal and tools to fight against the new and expected threat: The Illuminati. So as not to get bogged down and get straight to the point, below you have all the additions in list format.
- SQC-19 Stun Lancea secondary weapon that is just what its name suggests. It's an electric spear. It marks the arrival of melee weapons in Helldivers 2.
- SH-51 Directional Shieldis a stratagem that combines with the SQC so that the helldiver adopts the characteristic position of the Spartans at 300 and can advance avoiding enemy fire.
- Antitanque E/AT-12a fixed anti-aircraft tower-shaped stratagem that fires anti-tank ammunition. It is a more beastly version of the anti-tank cannon that we can transport.
- Flaming Sentinel A/FLAM-40this stratagem is every calciner's dream. A fixed turret in the form of a high-powered flamethrower. If your ammo box takes damage, it explodes and leaves the surrounding area on fire… something that can be used as an advantage.
- Capsule Enhanceran upgrade that turns the supply boxes into a turret thanks to an automatic rifle attached to the top.
- SR-18 Barricadea classically cut heavy armor with a crested helmet in the style of the ancient Greeks. He comes with his cape.
- SR-24 Street Explorera light armor with its helmet and cape. Both armors feature “Siege Ready, which increases the charging speed of your main weapon by an incredible 30% and the capacity of your main ammunition by 20%.”
- Gesture “This is Democracy”which is a nod to the 300 scene from “This is Sparta.” And more content: player cards, camouflage patterns and SuperEarth credits.
These are all the news of the War Bond called Urban Legends. Its price is 1,000 SuperEarth credits, as usual. It's 10 dollars to change, approx. If there's a good time to start playing or return to Helldivers 2, it's definitely now.
