While they wait for the release of a very ambitious fan-made remake for Fallout 4 in the more or less distant future, a nice free surprise awaits them.
After the excellent Fallout London, there are plenty more fan creations to look out for in the iconic Post-Apo universe. Including Project Arroyo, a remake of the legendary second opus on the engine of the fourth episode. Even though it's not close to release yet, its creators are giving fans a nice gift to ease their wait.
Nostalgic gift while waiting for the unofficial Fallout 2 remake
On July 4th, the team of modders behind Fallout 2 Remake wanted to celebrate the American national holiday by teasing its recreation of Pip-Boy (the computer that Vault Dwellers wear on their wrist) from the original game using the engine of the fourth work. Fast forward to January where they announced that it would be available as a standalone mod. Aptly named Project Arroyo – Pip-Boy 2000and also on Xbox in a “ Lite », This replaces the appearance of Pip-Boy from the fourth work.
Of course, this mod will then be integrated directly into the larger main mod Project Arroyo, the unofficial remake of Fallout 2.
