It’s been over two weeks since January started and James Gunn He has not yet given any clues about the future of the DC Extended Universe. Although he said that throughout this month he was going to announce the first news of the semi-reboot of the franchise, he still remains completely silent and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to say anything for several days… Or not.
Through his Twitter account, where he confirms or denies depending on what rumors or hoaxes, he has posted a photo showing how he is reading a superman comic.

The work in question is All-Star Superman, one of the most successful and beloved DC superhero. In this comic, Lex Luthor intoxicates Superman in a deadly way and, knowing that he is going to die, the Man of Steel will spend this time doing 12 different tasks to help humanity and the Kryptonians before his death.
Obviously, this does not mean that the next Superman movie will be inspired by this comic, but it is interesting to know that it is one of the filmmaker’s favorites. Also, if we add to this that he is still writing the script for the movie, maybe he will take some reference from this comic to implement it in the next superman movie.
