Toby Fox, the creator of the indie hit undertale, finally comes back with a new role play after seven years of development. Deltarune ties in atmospherically on his predecessor, but is not a direct sequel, but rather a parallel world.
Fans have been waiting for the finished game for four years after the first two chapters were released as a free foretaste. Now Chapter 3 and 4 appear as a complete release together with a revised version of the previous story.
What is it about? In Deltarune you will encounter both new characters and old well -known from underly (albeit in new roles). You explore bizarre locations, leads weird dialogues and gradually ventilates the secrets of the unusual world. Despite the cute pixel look, the story does not shy away from profound or emotional moments-which has already implemented undertale at the time.
There is also a lot of things in play: The round-based combat system is again supplemented by bullet hell elements, opposing attacks you have to dodge in small skills. At the same time, you have the choice again whether you want to fight or spare monsters, your decisions influence the course of history.
The whole thing is accompanied by the usual magnificent soundtrack from Toby Fox 'feather YouTube already has millions of views. Deltarune definitely has the potential to prove that great role-playing experiences do not have to be a graphics cracker.
