Leonard Mencharis Software returns to show us their aesthetic inspired by Japanese samurai films like Kurosawa’s. All in black and white to respect the atmosphere of this type of feature film, the game published by Devolver Digital is well on its way to really immersing us.
Between the Japanese dubbing, the smell of blood, the cinematic image, and the fighting, there’s an undeniable sense of detail. But Trek to Yomi is a game, so we’ll have to see what it really has in store. As for the story, here it is:
A young warrior swears on his venerable master’s deathbed to protect his city and the people he loves from all outside threats. Plagued by tragedy, driven by his duty, this lonely samurai embarks on a journey beyond life and death to find his way and pave the way to his own destiny.
