During the Xbox Developer Direct on Thursday, January 18, 2024, Microsoft once again highlighted Hellblade 2 to announce its release date for Xbox Series X|S and PC. An exclusive that will be available from May 21, 2024 and will be the manufacturer’s first truly large cartridge this year. Suffice it to say that it is highly anticipated, especially after a previous game that was certainly imperfect but that offered a remarkable experience in certain points, such as the incredible soundscape. But could Ninja Theory’s game have a fate like Sea of Thieves or Grounded?
Is a PS5 version of Hellblade 2 already in the works?
For the first quarter of 2024, Microsoft has decided to further strengthen its multiplatform strategy by bringing Xbox exclusives to PS5 and Nintendo Switch. In response to a tweet spreading this rumor, Corden said: “I can confirm at this time that this is completely false.”
Hellblade 2 will therefore be a real Microsoft exclusive title, available on Xbox Series X|S and PC from May 21, 2024 and promises to be another feast for the ears.
