After the first concept images for Avatar 3, 4 and 5, one of the actresses says more about the next part. Cameron is planning something very, very serious.
Avatar 2: The Way of Water proved the lie to everyone who felt that there was no longer any expectation of James Cameron’s life’s work. With worldwide sales of more than 2.32 billion, the sequel has moved up to third place among the biggest hits of all time. The future of the saga is therefore bright and the best is (thankfully) yet to come, starting with Avatar 3.
Avatar 3 is going to be crazy, I swear, I promise, I swear!
“Each film in the franchise is an exciting but epic undertaking that takes time to reach the level of quality that we set for ourselves and that audiences expect of us. The team is working hard and can’t wait to bring viewers back to Pandora in December 2025.” explained producer Jon Landau when announcing the postponement of Avatar 3. It was originally supposed to be shown on December 18th, 2024, but ultimately it will (logically) be December 17th, 2025.
For Avatar 3, Cameron will change the narrator by placing more emphasis on Lo’ak, one of the sons of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). But the director will also introduce a new tribe: the Ash People – Ash People in the original version – who are looked after by Varang, played by Oona Chapling (Talisa Stark in Game of Thrones). A clan that lives in a volcanic region of Pandora. That’s all we know about Avatar 3, but Zoe Saldana promises it’s worth the watch and will be “amazing.”
It will be great. Avatar 3 is going to be great and Avatar 4 and 5 are just going to be crazy. This is true. Really. He blew us all away. That is his legacy. We all thought it would be “Titanic,” and in the end it turned out to be “Avatar.” And for us it’s like a legacy to be part of something so revolutionary and innovative.
Over Collider.
Avatar 3 is going to be “amazing” and of course from a purely visual perspective we don’t think so. Especially since the first pictures, conceptually, clearly sell the dream.
