Rod Fergusson, vice president of the famous franchise at Blizzard, expressed his reassurance about Diablo 4 and its DLC, which will be released tomorrow, October 8th.
The news surrounding Diablo 4 is hot. Tomorrow the first major DLC, Vessel of Hatred, arrives immediately, and the sixth season revolves around Mephisto, the Lord of Hate. The manager of Blizzard’s legendary Hack’n’Slash license came back to a point that is visibly important to many gamers, who are justifiably wondering about it given that the studio is owned by Microsoft.
The Diablo 4 boss wants to be pro-lix towards the players
Starting tomorrow, Diablo 4 wants to reshuffle the cards and convince the heroes of Sanctuary to fight against Mephisto again on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. In addition to the DLC, which adds the lush jungles of Nahantu to explore, the new thematic class Sacresprit, and brings Diablo 2’s mercenaries up to date, Season 6 will also bring a deep overhaul to the base game’s progression in addition to its own seasonal ones Mechanics.
Since Diablo 4 has been owned by Microsoft since the Activision-Blizzard acquisition, many fans wondered if Diablo 4 would receive special attention in anticipation of the PS5 Pro releasing on November 7th. Rod Fergusson, the literal head of the franchise at Blizzard, made a very official statement on the matter on his official X.com account. “ I’ve been asked this question a lot lately. And I’m happy to say that Diablo 4 and Vessel of Hatred will indeed receive the PS5 Pro Enhanced label! I am very proud that our teams are working hard to make this possible. More details will follow soon
Diablo 4 and its DLC will therefore be added to the already long list of around fifty titles that will be fully optimized for PS5 Pro. However, it remains to be seen whether this will be the case when the console is released or at a later date. Since Blizzard is currently busy with the upcoming release of Vessel of Hatred and Season 6, we’ll have to wait a bit to find out.
