Big, brings, photo, Stolen

The stolen images from The Last of Us season 2 are consecutive and not the same, with the latest involving a new character who is noticeably different from the game he came from.

After Joel, Ellie, and Dina, it’s now the turn of a minor character from The Last of Us Part 2 to be revealed via a stolen image. However, this first look suggests that the adaptation will deviate significantly from the game’s narrative in the highly anticipated second season.

A stolen image that says a lot about the second season of The Last of Us

Although season 2 of The Last of Us doesn’t cover all the events of part 2, we should meet many central characters there. In this new stolen image from the set, we discover the live-action version of Isaac Dixon, played by Jeffrey Wright (Westworld). As a reminder, this is the leader of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF in English). We won’t go into this point in detail at the risk of giving away an important part of the game’s story.

However, in Naughty Dog’s 2020 masterpiece, we see him relatively little and at an advanced age. However, the stolen image that interests us here shows him in uniform and visibly younger. It could therefore be that the story of the second season of The Last of Us will be expanded to include a flashback. This had already happened in the first season, especially as far as survivalist Bill was concerned, with a largely rewritten development. The series’ Joel, still played by Pedro Pascal, was also able to show clear differences from his video game counterpart in season 2.

Once again, HBO should develop Isaac’s past thanks to the notes we can extract from the games. A way like any other to detach itself from the original material and justify the interest of an adaptation. We will be able to find out how current it is in early 2025 on the Max platform, which arrives in France on June 11 (or a priori via a bundled offer from Canal+, also available in our country from June 11).
