Setting the tone for the year for the rest of us, the streamers have beaten Ring of Elden Malenia on the dance pad and controller – at the same time.
Look, I don’t care what anyone says, I know I only managed to beat Malenia because of Mimic Tear, and I’m not ashamed of it.She’s a damn tough boss fight, could easily be one of them from the software hardest. This makes Twitch streamer MissMikkaa’s feat of playing on a dance mat on one console and using a regular controller on the other, and beating Malenia on both, all the more impressive (thanks Eurogamer).
To explain how it works: MissMikkaa played the game last year while using one of her PS5s and the other on a PC using a dance pad, each version played on a different screen. In turn, she must defeat Maleni a with the same attempt in both versions of the game. Dying in either one means starting over in the other, since it won’t really be both bosses at the same time. Just this week, with impressive focus and skill, she actually pulled off this ridiculous feat.
in a tweet To show off the moment, MissMikkaa said it took her three days to try 199 times, which honestly sounds about on par with what the rest of us try normally. To take down the demigod, she uses the Flamberge and Seppuku Ash of War’s bleed build, which increases the amount of damage you take on death and is capable of bleeding, which usually does massive damage.
Below you can watch a compilation of MissMikkaa’s various attempts to take down Miquella’s brutal blade through all of its highs and lows. She also shows off the full fight, which is certainly a sight to behold. It might also give you an idea of how to implement it yourself. Gives you something to do while you wait for Armored Core 6.
