While PSVR 2’s lineup looks solid, it will still have to do without this massive title. A sequel to one of the most popular virtual reality games.

A game missing from the PSVR 2 release
The first PSVR 2 games are on their way and for now there will be around ten, like No Man’s Sky, The Dark Pictures Switchback VR or Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Unfortunately, we have to forget about The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2, which will be released on the new PS5 headset. The launch is actually scheduled for March 20th, 2023, while the PlayStation VR 2 will be available on February 23rd, 2023. On PC VR Steam it will be in February 2023 and on the original PS VR in 2023 without a specific window.
A little delay is not very bad, especially since you have something to do a priori. The Walking Dead Saints and Sinner Chapter 2: Retribution are sold separately and also have a Deluxe Edition. The most expensive bundle containing this sequel and The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners 1.
On the other hand, we don’t know if it’s the game in backwards compatible mode or if it’s really going to be improved for the PSVR 2. If the second option is chosen, will current owners get a free update? Again, we don’t yet know Sony’s plans on the matter.
